Pooja
The various Poojas that are done in this
Temple are as follows:
Special Pooja
Lord Sri Hanuman before He was placed on the temple,had a special pooja done to Him, known
as "Suvasini pooja". The pooja was done by 1008 "Sumangali" ladies,
which is the hallmark of that Pooja.
Routine Poojas
1. Sri Rama Navami day - Everyear on the day in which
"PoonarPusam" star comes in the tamil month of "Panguni" (March -
April) on the "Navami Thithi", (which is the ninth day after New Moon day)
special poojas and arhcanas are done for Lord Sri Rama and Lord Sri Anjaneya.
2. February 12th - the day on which, Lord Anjaneya was
installed.
Homams
The Sudharsana Homam has been done 5 times.
Mantras
Chanting of Sahasranama takes place
daily since February,1982 .
