I put up this survival guide sometime last year to help newbies coming to UK with some essential info. Interestingly, these days I get lot of queries ranging from – ‘do you have such a site for Finland’ to ‘where should i look for a child minder’. So, I am planning to expand the scope of this site by including some more information. As a visitor, what sort of information do you think can be added here. Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

Hey have you added a list of UK job sites? Nyabagam illai.
U can probably also add some cultural activities to your page. For example, places where they teach Bharatanatyam (by Location) with Contact Information.

a lot of people would definitely want to know about living expenses. so you can probably give a guideline on things like apartment rent, a dinner in a decent restaurant, cost on travelling to other major cities in UK, a weekly grocery bill for a single person etc.
I’m sure these things are subjective, but it’ll be helpful for sure.

Poornima - i haven’t added any list of UK job sites… thats a good suggestion indeed and will add it soon. there are some other stuff as well that need to be added.
Saranyan – As for the living expenses, I thought i have given enough details about the possible expenses.. but they are all scattered.. think its worth giving a summary sort of thing… thanks for the suggestion.
