Inspired by Anirud, I have also signed up for swimming lessons. Best part was the timing of the classes – it starts at 8:15 pm and lasts for 30 minutes, which suits me perfectly. The first lesson wasn’t very encouraging as I struggled to float on water. Let me see how it goes.
nice to hear this.. I also started very recently..gud luck.. Its a nice thing to know
super da…when you jumped first time, how much of water did you displace…? have fun
Chakra,
Congratulations!!! Good to learn it before Anirudh teaches you. After few days tell me how it is. Now you will appreciate Swimming races in the Olympics.
Better late than never. One of these days, we might hear you, talk about swimming in the Thames.

ingeyum adhu daan. but me tried with friends in a swimmng ppol in goa!
should join a class soon. thanks for reminding me abt that
keep at it. I have been swimming since i was very very young – and once you get the hang of it there is no feeling as good as being out in the water – will open up your horizons to better olidays such as snorkelling and swimming in the sea….
I learnt swimming and became a freak. but had to stop because of my sinus. Good luck to you
I long to swim someday…
CVR – Good stuff and same pinch..
Guru – Not much… I am the leanest among the other students… every one looks like hippos and I am a bit scared to go near them.
Balaji – thnks. It feels good when you learn something new.
Venky – i will be more than happy if i manage to float.. i dont want to swim in Thames..
PK – Please do.. Its fun definitely.
30in2005 – Second lesson was much better than the first and I think I have started to enjoy it.
Vasu – I remember the swimming pool you once showed me @ Holy Cross, Salem. Did you learn there?
Anumita – Just do it. (Well.. Nike didn’t pay me a penny to say this!)
