Last night I received a call from Mr. Kishore Tahiliani who lives in Bournemouth in UK. He has a lovely 9-year old daughter “Shonia”. She has unfortunately been suffering from cerebral palsy since birth and has been undergoing several treatments for the same.
Recently, Shonia has had a Stem Cell treatment in China and thankfully, that has had a lot of positive effects on the kid. This stem cell treatment is not available in the United Kingdom and so, they have no choice but to travel to China for that purpose.
Encouraged by the progress this treatment has made on Shonia, they are planning to take her to China once again for a second round of stem cell treatment. Obviously, this costs a lot and this is where Mr and Mrs Tahiliani need your help. They have launched an e-mail and internet campaign appealing for help with the hope that if those who come across the mail / website donate at least £1, that will go a long way towards making Shonia self dependent.
I usually hesitate a lot when it is an appeal for monetary help. But as you can see, this is authentic.
There are several ways to make your contributions reach Shonia’s parents (Cheque, Paypal, Bank Transfer etc). Please take a look at their website. If you have any questions, you can e-mail me at sam_chakra [at] yahoo [dot] com

You can also see the press coverage here to be sure of its authenticity.
