About the Artist Geetha Murali, an ardent student of the art of Tanjore Painting , a disciple of Shri J.V.Ganesan. She is an artistically oriented personality with varied interests in toy making, doll making, glass painting, hand embroidery, fabric painting, dress designing and Tanjore Painting. A native of South India, she has developed a passion for the colorful art of Tanjore painting. She has completed many paintings, some of which are seen in the Gallery. She is now a honorary Director in “The Pondicherry Tanjore Womens’ Artisans Co-op Society Ltd.”.
